Ashley played NCAA hockey at Middlebury, then played several seasons in Sweden’s SDHL league. She has spent several years coaching prep hockey at Thayer Academy, Choate Rosemary Hall and most recently is the Head Coach at The Greenwich Country Day School.
With a background in strength and mobility training, her coaching style remains based in technical skill, with a particular focus on skating mechanics, improving both stride length and stride speed. By improving an athlete’s body mechanics, they can be more efficient in their movement and ultimately transfer more power through each stride, shot, movement, etc. in order to maximize speed on the ice.
